EU/Worldwide Shipping
Unless
asked to do otherwise, I will mark the customs declaration as “gift” with a low
value (so no tax to pay).
Although
there are no problems doing this when sending to the US or Australia, customs in the EU have
been over-zealous since July 2021, so records can get stuck in customs for a
number of days. Although I will mark packages as gift with a low value some countries
(Germany in particular) tend to charge import duty (usually under € 10).
Grading
I don’t
use the term Mint. I don’t believe
that records manufactured over 30 years ago, even if unplayed, can be called
mint.
Grading:
Record/Cover
EX: Means either “near mint” to some light very marks with
hardly any noticeable noise. Sleeve has no or only minor wear.
VG: Means means some minimal background sounds and more
pronounced marks which do not affect the listening experience in a major way.
Sleeve may be creased, minor discolouring, the odd fraying, some ringwear, seam
split and perhaps some writing.
G: Means noticeable clicks or pop, may have scratches,
but doesn’t skip or jump. Sleeve may be ripped, tape repair, large writing,
sticker removal damage etc...
Fair: Not a pleasant listening experience, the disc is
damaged, just a stop gap before upgrading. Sleeve is badly damaged, not one to
frame on the wall...
Poor: I don’t sell records in poor condition
Please
note that in many cases Youtube clips are for reference and not from the record

from the record http://www.ecommerceplayer.com/MediaPlayer.aspx?id=87887d7d-5e11-4e39-ada4-68803ae19c34 |
Here’s a biggie. An
incredibly obscure outing from a virtually unknown band from Ann
Arbor. Madness Reigns is a treasured moment of pure folly. At the
cusp of Bonehead, but mixing in a
slight Kinks/Leopards delivery in the vocals, it features some
blistering killer guitar and also has a heavy Psych/Freakbeat appeal. The
title sums it up –Pure Insania! |

A rousing example of a
Canadian Glam and Hard Rock crossover. Mid-tempo, both
sides sound like they were obviously inspired by T. Rex but the vocal
delivery is closer to Heavy Cruiser or Thundermug. An extra
dimension is added by the use of old synths and especially a Mellotron, which
is somewhat unworldly and really takes off on part 2. |
